“Stay and Play”
Parents are an important part of the program. We welcome parents to participate in “Stay and Play” where you come along with your child at kinder. Toddlers are welcome too. Your assistance enables us to offer the diverse range of experiences that enrich your child’s year and your child will enjoy sharing his/her experiences with you during your “Stay and Play” session. Grandparents, relatives or family friends are also invited to volunteer.
Please let your teachers know if you can “Stay and Play” to arrange a convenient and suitable date.even just an hour or two is so special of stay the morning, afternoon or day. Some parents like to coincide this date with their Childs birthday. Your help is so much appreciated.
Beach kinder parent roster – we encourage parents to add their name to a parent beach kinder helper roster in terms 2 and 3. This is great way to see what Beach kinder is all about.
Other ways to participate.
If you are unavailable for “Stay and Play” or would like to do more, there are many other ways to get involved.
- Sharing a special talent – e.g. musical instruments, cooking, gardening, artist.
- Laundry – taking home some weekly washing.
- Committee-volunteer
- Fundraising – Support efforts to raise funds.
- Provide ideas and suggestions.
- Working bees – Usually once a term.
- Trade skills – Plumbing, landscaping.
- Chicken/animal sitting.
